What To Expect At Rusk Bible Church?
When you come to join us for the first time, one of our greeters will be glad to help you become comfortable. If you'd like, they'll help you find the nursery (if your children are in need of it), restrooms, sanctuary and, of course, coffee, donuts, and sometimes quiche before and after the service.
What a typical Sunday morning worship service looks like.
We start off our worship service with a song of praise, followed by welcoming everyone there and any announcements. We continue with more worship songs. Then take up our offering after which we have encouraging scripture reading (we sometimes have children that read). Then we have more songs. Followed by our Pastor, Ron who preaches through in series of the books of the Bible. Then a corporate prayer and commission to go spread the love of Christ through out the week.
Worship
Our song worship time includes a wide variety of music. We strive for a blending of modern day music with classic hymns. Our volunteer worship team really helps with getting people engaged in praising and worshiping the Lord.
Preaching
Bible churches are independent churches that study and preach through entire books of the Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, letting God's Word set the topics each week. We believe that the entire counsel of God's Word is essential for our growth and transformation into Christ's likeness, so that the world may come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Babies & Kids
Rusk Bible Church is a family integrated church. We encourage parents to have their children attend all corporate worship gatherings (in the sanctuary) that they can, rather than attending a separate children’s ministry. We also have a nursery for nursing mothers (Livestream of the service via a TV) and toddler room available as well.
